Mineware Consulting has entered into a strategic agreement to join the Datamine Group, enabling the global expansion of its operational mine management software and consulting capabilities. The transaction positions Mineware to scale its systems internationally while maintaining a strong focus on production-ready, operationally proven solutions.

Founded in South Africa, Mineware Consulting develops operational mine management systems designed for complex, high pressure mining environments. Its software is used by operations that require accurate, real-time operational data to support production control, safety, compliance, and cost management.

The integration with Datamine brings together operational mine management with mine planning and value chain wide mining technology. Datamine operates in more than twenty countries and provides software and services across exploration, resource modelling, mine planning, operations, logistics, fleet management, and sustainability to over 6,000 mining companies worldwide.

“We are excited by this development, as the acquisition allows us to scale Africa-developed operational mining systems globally. Our software has been built in demanding operating environments where reliability, discipline, and real time control are essential. Joining Datamine gives us the reach and platform to deliver this capability internationally.” Ian Saker, CEO of Mineware Consulting

As part of its continued innovation focus, Mineware has recently implemented an AI driven verification agent for a major South African mining customer. The solution enhances data accuracy, reduces reporting backlogs, and ensures that critical safety information reaches operational teams faster, enabling more responsive decision-making. By automating repetitive validation processes, the system allows skilled personnel to focus on higher value analysis and operational improvement while strengthening overall data integrity.

Mineware’s development, consulting, and support teams will continue to deliver and support Syncromine solutions, working alongside Datamine to expand functionality, integration, and global deployment. Existing customers will retain continuity of service while gaining access to a broader mining technology ecosystem and international support capability.

The transaction reflects a shared focus on enabling digitally mature mining operations through integrated systems, trusted data, and operational clarity.
